Eyetooth Design Wins Graphic Design Studio of the Year in the South England Prestige Awards 2026/27
I’m very pleased to share that Eyetooth Design has been named Graphic Design Studio of the Year in the South England Prestige Awards 2026/27.
The award recognises my work as a Brighton & Hove-based graphic and web designer, creating distinctive visual design for businesses, organisations and individuals across the UK and internationally.
While Eyetooth Design covers a broad range of creative services, including branding, logo design, web design and illustration, the award itself was judged specifically within the graphic design category. That makes it a particularly welcome acknowledgement of the design thinking, visual craft and attention to detail that sits at the heart of everything I create.

Why This Award Matters
Awards are always appreciated, but the most meaningful part is what they represent.
For me, good graphic design is not just about making something look polished. It is about creating work that has character, clarity and purpose. A good design should catch the eye, make sense quickly, feel appropriate for the audience and help the client present their business with more confidence.
Every project is different, so I avoid fixed packages and template-led solutions. Some clients need a complete visual identity from scratch. Others need a logo refreshed, a brochure designed, a website improved, an illustration created or a set of marketing materials brought together with a more coherent style.
Whatever the scale of the project, the aim is always the same: to create bespoke creative design that feels distinctive, considered and useful.
A Personal Design Service
Eyetooth Design is intentionally small, which means clients work directly with me throughout the process.
That direct relationship makes a real difference. It allows me to understand the brief properly, ask the right questions, explore ideas carefully and shape the final design around the needs of the client rather than forcing it into a pre-made format.
Over the years, I have worked with clients across sectors including property, healthcare, construction, food and drink, arts and culture, music, professional services, training, ecommerce and wellbeing. The variety keeps the work interesting and gives me the flexibility to adapt the visual approach to each client rather than repeating the same style.
More Than 20 Years of Design Experience
I began working professionally as a designer in 1998 and have been running Eyetooth Design since 2008.
That experience has given me a broad mix of creative and technical skills across print, branding, websites, illustration and digital media. It also means I understand how design needs to work in the real world, from clear logo files and properly prepared artwork to flexible website graphics, usable layouts and visual systems that can grow with a business.
