Bi-fold Brochure Design
This A4 bi-fold brochure design shows the final design that was created to market the Woodland creation and design services that Glorious Gardens provide.
For the initial concept design (see below), I had gone for more angled shapes and image crops. I felt that this provided some additional visual interest but after discussions with the customer, we went for a more uniform block layout. He felt that it would allow more room for the photos to take front and centre, to better highlight the beautiful woodlands they create.
We also went decided to use a more neutral cream colour background to give it a softer, natural feeling.
Folded Leaflet Design
The image above shows the initial concept I created. Things can change quite a lot during the design process. The initial proof supplied to the client doesn’t always hit the mark, so it’s important not to be too precious about things and make sure you provide something that suits the client and not your own personal preferences. Don’t ever sacrifice good design though, work with the customer and provide as much advice and ideas as is necessary, to get a brilliant final result, that you are both happy with.
